Deirdre Daly is a portrait, social/documentary and landscape photographer.
Deirdre experiences the world as a beautiful range of stories. She sees those stories in the facial expression of other humans, in street scenes, events and in landscapes and nature. Through her photography she shares those stories with a respectful view on the world around her. She has a keen eye for capturing fleeting moments and invites the viewer to experience what that moment feels like.
Deirdre is originally from Ireland and based in Amsterdam since 2006. With a background in visual design and design thinking strategy for companies like BBC, IBM and Elsevier, Deirdre is now placing her photographic skills centre stage and is studying at the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam.
